Hello bloggers…
I’ve been itching to post this on the blog, but I couldn’t since it was a surprise to be played at the wedding this past Saturday. You are about to see our first attempt at doing something cool with my new camera’s ability to shoot HD video. Below is a story written, produced, and edited by Alain Martinez Photography. It’s a story created for newlyweds Yvette and Jason using all the things that are dear to their hearts. It was shot half in Bimini, Bahamas, and half in Miami, Florida. This was shot entirely with Canon 5D Mark II cameras and Canon L lenses.
Special thanks to Angie (my wife) and Armando Rodriguez for assisting me with this project, and Zumel Michel, our graphic designer for the awesome editing job. This is our first attempt at this, before this we had never produced or even owned video editing software.
Note: we are a photography studio and we DO NOT do wedding videography. Please contact us for recommendations on that as have no interest in venturing into wedding videography services.
for the best viewing experience, please pause the video and let it load completely and then watch it in full screen (click full screen button to the left of the Vimeo name). Enjoy it!

Part of the inspiration for the video came from a song that the groom really likes (Old Blue Chair, by Kenny Chesney). The chair was signed the day of the wedding by all the guests.
Go ahead, click replay! LOL I hope you enjoyed it.
