Hello bloggers…

So yesterday I did a random Google search on my name and while I found many positive things I also saw a few familiar images with a URL that wasn’t mine.  As I looked closer I was redirected to another photographer’s website in Connecticut, and what I found was appalling.  My images, my hard work, my years of investment, being used in some other thief’s website as his own work.  Needless to say I was beyond upset last night, and I couldn’t wait until this morning to call this person.

So I called this morning and pretended to be asking about engagement pictures and not only did I wake him up at 11:30 am, but he said the photographer had stepped out to get some stuff and he’d be back in 20 minutes.  I’ve been calling back every chance I get but somehow he smelled trouble and took the images off his site.  Below are a few screen captures I took before he was able to take them down.

You may be wondering how on earth this guy got these images, and the answer is because this album was featured as album of the month in my album company a while back and he took the spreads right from there.  Unbelievable what dishonest people are willing to do.  Do yourself a favor and Google your name and make sure your images are not being used inappropriately.

I don’t typically like to post negative things on my blog, but this was a must.  Look out for yourselves out there…
