Today is Thanksgiving in the US, a day to take a moment to appreciate what we have, instead of complaining about what we don’t have, a day to thank those around us who love us and made our very existence possible.  I’ve been thinking about this since yesterday, and as I started listing the things I am thankful for I found myself being the luckiest man in the world.  Today I’d like to take a moment and be thankful for…

First and foremost, the return of my grandfather from the hospital.  He’ll be able to celebrate thanksgiving with us!

For a wonderful wife who supports me in everything I do

My amazing parents who taught me the values and qualities necessary to be a successful and honest entrepreneur

For having met all my grandparents and still have 3 of them alive

For having an amazing family who sticks together through thick and thin

For my cutest niece Abby and my godchild Sebastian

For having a large group of close friends I can count on for everything, and for knowing that they count on me as well for everything

For having recently made new friendships in the wedding industry that I consider true future friends in due time (you all know who you are)

For having a successful and growing business despite economic times

For having the best staff in the world, without whom I couldn’t do any of what I do

For having a growing number of fans that love and follow our work on a daily basis (you all keep me going)

For having loyal clients that recognize what we do as art, and who trust us with the opportunity to take such an important role during one of the most important days of their lives.

lastly and definitely not least, for having great health that fuels the fire within me that enables me to try new things every day and stay on top of my game.

I only ask that you please be thankful today and appreciate others as they appreciate you.
