Hello bloggers…

Today, as I write this last post of the year, I sit here amazed at how much has gone on this year.  My wife has always told me to write a post like this every year, and I’m so glad I listened to her this year.  Though it took me all day to prepare this post, it made me realize what a crazy year we had.  It turns out I had a camera in my hand more than 61 % of the year with around 190 different sessions.  We were blessed to shoot weddings/sessions in Paris, St Lucia, Dominican Republic, Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Napa Valley, San Luis Obispo, New York, Washington DC, Palm Beach, Key West, Hawks Cay, and of course all over Miami.  All of this while enduring 8 months of house construction (since February), and a whole year of caring for one of the most important men in my life, my grandfather.  While at times I felt burned out, I look back now and it energizes me to know that we have touched so many lives this year.  NONE of this would have been possible without the amazing team that Angie and I have beside us, making us shine every single time.  Without our team, we are nothing.  I’m a firm believer that adversity makes us all stronger and more capable individuals.  Well, there hasn’t been a shortage of that in our lives this year either, but we made it through exceedingly well I think.

I want to dedicate this last post to the person from whom I inherited the strength, perseverance, and most of the qualities that have made me the man that I am today–my grandfather.  He finally rested a few weeks before his 93rd birthday but he’s still very much around me everyday.

Enjoy a piece of my life, a moment from every session we did in 2010, in no particular order.  Some of these sessions have not been blogged but they will, I’m sure after reading the above you’ll understand why.

There you have it 2010 in a nutshell.  This does not include any of the sessions that we did for weddings taking place in 2011.  These will be blogged next year.  Keep it locked here for more hotness coming in 2011.
