Hello bloggers…
Last year during Valentine’s I dedicated the post on my blog to MY Valentine’s, so guess what I’m making it a tradition now. It seems that our clients really like when I make traditions out of certain things and they really look forward to them (e.g, holiday cards, end of year post) and now…Valentine’s. So consider a post about Angie, my Valentine’s, a tradition.
I was recently browsing through some pictures and ran across these photos from our first trip to Europe in 2005. When I had just bought my first camera, had no idea what I was doing, and was on my way to Italy to shoot a friend’s wedding (my 3rd wedding ever at that point). Yeah, how much sense does that make??? Luckily I had a beautiful subject to practice with, but more than anything this trip is when I discovered that Angie shared with me two of my biggest passions: photography and traveling.
As happy as she may seem in the photos above…she was scared beyond believe that one of those birds was going to (@#%$SS&) on her.
Here she is scoutin’ like most women lol…but little did she know I already had a ring being made back at home!
And here she is drinking beer from The Manneken-Pis statue at the commencement of Oktoberfest in Brussels. These are the little moments that make pictures worth a thousand words, but that also make a companion like her literally priceless.
Happy Valentine’s day to all my beautiful couples and bombshells and moms, but more than anything to MY Valentine’s, the mother of my son: Angie!
Until next Valentine’s…keep it locked here.
