Hello bloggers…
As some of you can see I haven’t blogged anything in a loooooooong time. We have been fortunate enough that our business has taken us around the world (literally) this summer which combined with an insanely busy summer and trying to spend every free second with my 10 month old son, has left me in a rut I didn’t know how to get out of. If I haven’t blogged your wedding or session believe me, I will. Some of my best work EVER is stuck in this pile of amorphous blog material but I will get blogged. You can also check out teasers and album that I haven’t blogged by following our fan page. Click here to become a fan.
Anyway the union strike is OFF and what better way to kick it off than with Tina and Felix’s Russian wedding at the Plaza New York. New York is one of our favorite cities in the world and it has become nothing more than a 3 hour hop. Shooting weddings and engagement pictures there has become as common as shooting them here, so keep that in mind if you want pictures outside of “your box”
I don’t know a lot of the vendors that were part of this magnificent event so I can’t credit them but I’m sure they’ll reach out soon enough and I’ll update the blog accordingly. Ceremony/Reception: The Plaza, New York, Cake: Sylvia Weinstock, I do know the cinematographer and good friend Ray Roman. Photography: Alain Martinez Photography,
A special thanks to Kevin for flying up to New York with me to shoot this wedding and to Anya Roudenko for your amazing photography and Russian translation.
Here we go….
Tina and Felix, the quality of these pictures show how much I enjoyed being part of your day. 14 hours felt like just a few minutes and you were both such troopers for putting up with all my craziness. I cannot wait show you more!!
Everyone else, keep it locked here for more hotness soon….
