Well if I have any chance at ever becoming the world’s best (not a chance, but at least in the 305 area code), a good way of improving my chances is by learning from two of the world’s best photographers Joe Bussink and Yervant–and that’s exactly what I did this past Wednesday in Orlando. Me and a few other Florida photographers enjoyed a full day of brain picking with these two icons of wedding photography. The both got recently named amongst top 10 photographers of the world by American Photo Magazine. Joe is a wedding photographer from Beverly Hills who has shot most of the weddings of Hollywood’s best actors. That’s Joe below. Sorry for the bad picture and the raccoon eyes…it was a long day.

and Yervant is an Australian photographer very famous for his style and energy while taking pictures of the bride and groom. He has won every major award in the competitions that I go to every year. This is Yervant below.

It was a very dynamic class with two completely different approaches. I was extremely happy to see that our studio already employs many of the techniques and methods used by their own individual studios as well, but I was also happy to learn new ones. Thanks to Joe and Yervant for the inspiration and can’t wait for my next bride to implement the new concepts learned.
