Hello bloggers…
Today is a day to give thanks, and regardless of whether you deep fry a turkey or roast a pig (you know who are out there), or you sautee some asparagus and carrots, you should be thankful for what you have, and know that there are millions of people that have a lot less than you.
I think about this every time I’m having a problem, and it really humbles me down. It makes me realize that perhaps some other people would love to have what I call a problem. I’m not saying I rejoice on that fact, but it puts things into perspective for me, and it brings me a sense of relief and a need to appreciate others. Today I find myself extremely lucky to have so many people to thank, and to receive so many thanks from other people. So here’s who I want to thank:
First my beautiful wife who supports me in every way (even though she’s not happy that I can’t help with the turkey preparation since I need to edit down 4 weddings)
My family, the very foundation of everything I am today
My friends, the people that keep me sane and laughing
My clients, for having a piece of me in your homes
My vendors, for making my work look like a million bucks
My team, without you I am nothing
and last but certainly not least YOU for reading my blog on your day off. You are the reason why I keep up with this blog.
If you meet multiple criteria from the above, then a special thanks to you. I love and value when clients become our friends, and when friends have a piece of me in their homes, and of course when they read my blog.
So thank you one more time, and all I ask is that you turn around and thank the person next to you. If you can’t find a reason to thank him/her, then thank him/her for simply being a part of your life as that in itself is a virtue others don’t have.
Until next time…
