About Epic Creative Retreats
Join other artists from around the world in an all-inclusive retreat for creatives in one of the most beautiful places on the planet–Iceland. Destination Creatives Retreat is an opportunity for an intimate group of highly creative individuals to create art together, or individually, while learning from and teaching others. It is a place to grow and help others grow while exploring some of the most beautiful places on earth, with the first one being Iceland.
About Epic Creative Retreats – Iceland 2023:
This year we will shoot Bridal, Fashion, Boudoir and Quinces. 4 days of shooting in the most epic locations. No location from 2022 will be repeated.
Each attendee will receive
- 1-on-1 time with each couple/model to have your own unique images and videos

- Transportation to each location (for the first 6 people who sign up)

This creatives retreat is for anyone who has no ego and feels that his/her craft can be improved by networking with others of similar skill level. It is for anyone who loves traveling and interacting with other people and cultures. Bring your creative a-game and have a great time.
Most importantly, your camera, favorite lenses and laptop to download your work. In addition, bring clothing appropriate for hiking in Icelandic weather in July, but also for pool activities and other experiences we will do together.
Keflavik Airport (KEF) is Iceland’s international airport. There is a shuttle that can take you from the airport to Reykjavik. Pickup from the shuttle’s drop off location can be arranged individually.

If there are multiple people coming from the same studio (max 2), there will be a 25% discount for the 2nd person. However, both individuals will share the same 1-on-1 time with the couples.

Term and Conditions
By registering for the Iceland Portfolio + Workshop you are agreeing to these terms below:
Pay a non-refundable retainer of 50% ($1500) upon registration. With an approved exception your retainer will be transferred to a future workshop of the same kind.
Final payment is due by June 10th 2023
This is an all inclusive experience that we’re facilitating for you all, otherwise very costly if booked individually. As such you agree to tag @alainmartinezstudio in social media posts pertaining to this Portfolio + Workshop and in images posted after the workshop concludes.
Photographers and Cinematographers have the right to use any content obtained during the workshop for their own commercial use and promotion EXCEPT for promoting a workshop of any kind. The rights to use any content from this workshop to promote future workshops of ANY kind is exclusively reserved for the host of this workshop Alain Martinez, LLC
Attendees understand that Alain Martinez, LLC will provide shared accommodations. We will all stay in one airBnB where everyone will have their own bed but the lodging included is not private or personal.
Alain Martinez, LLC will provide meals and drinks but we will not cater to specific dietary needs. If you have any dietary needs of any kind please make your own arrangements for all meals.
All attendees shall hold Alain Martinez, LLC, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates and its respective officers, directors, partners, sponsors, agents and employees, harmless, and indemnify them, from any and all liabilities, losses, damages, suits, actions, claims, judgments, costs and expenses (including all attorney’s fees and out-of-pocket expenses and costs) whatsoever arising from or related to this Portfolio + Workshop experience.

All retainers of 50% are non-refundable. We have a max number of 10 attendees so once we take your retainer we say no to anyone over 10. However as a courtesy we can apply your retainer towards a future Portfolio + Workshop if canceled more than 60 days prior to workshop day.
About Iceland during this time
You can always expect Iceland to be a little bit chilly in the summer. This workshop will take place during the hottest month of the year there but it will still be cool weather. We recommend that you do your own research to pack for clothing that is comfortable for you.

We really hope that things have improved significantly by the time of our workshop and we will keep this area updated with any information necessary.
