Hello bloggers. I wanted to share with you the Save The Date cards we did at our studio for Jeanelle and Miguel. I really wanted to do something creative but at the same time something dear to them, something that they could relate to and that their friends and families would understand. Well Miguel is quite the golfer and Jeanelle is quite the shopper and she’s obsessed with her wedding’s planning (which bride isn’t?). Anyway so we planned the photoshoot and the save the dates around that theme. We did a tri-fold 5×5 card with a trick to it. I hope you can appreciate it by the pictures below. I’ll explain…

The front is an abstract picture of Miguel and Jeanelle with their roles switched. Above is an actual picture of the front of the card standing up. It’s water color paper, so you’ll notice a little bit of texture.

This is the card opened (but not opened all the way). It appears that Miguel and Jeanelle are back to back but…

when you open the card all the way you see that actually Miguel is screaming at Jeanelle for rigging his golf cart with wedding stuff and she’s just not listening lol…

On the opposite flap you see that Miguel and Jeanelle both reading a wedding magazine and they are announcing to the world that they are teeing off and to save the date.

Above is the back of the card with the flap that was covering the true story on the inside of the card and their wedding info on the back of the card. I purposely blurred it out to protect a bit of my client’s privacy. I hope you like it and if you don’t see how this card unfolds feel free to swing by our studio to check one out.

Until next time.
