Thanksgiving (besides being my wife’s favorite holiday) is day to slow down and take a moment to appreciate what we take for granted every day.  I for one sure am guilty of taking many things for granted on a daily basis.  We all have challenges and hardship in our lives at different levels and sometimes they keep us from seeing the positive around us.  I’m a firm believer that if you focus on the positive and quickly discard the negative you’ll quickly realize that your blessing far exceed and outweigh the challenges and it will give you the energy to move forward and weather any storms that may come.  However, I’m not here to preach, I’m here to tell you a few things that I’m thankful for.

First and foremost I’m most thankful for my two adorable boys and the wife and mother that gave them to me.  Nothing comes close to the joy they bring me and for that I’m eternally thankful.

I am very thankful for having a big fat Cuban family that loves me and supports me.  With their support I feel like I can conquer anything in life.

I am thankful to have the honor to be a godfather to 3 amazing children.  It’s a blessing to have them in my life.

My entire team without whom I could not do any of what I do on a daily basis.  They are all really amazing and I feel blessed to have them make my work shine.

The art that I chose as a profession.  I’m thankful for this profession every day.  We touch so many lives every day and we are part of so many families’ histories that I could not be more honored and feel more blessed to have chosen this profession.

My health, which I do NOT take for granted and I’m thankful to have it to be able to enjoy my children.

YOU.  You all are really the reason why I’m writing this post here on my blog instead of Facebook.  You are the reason why I strive to get better every day and create new concepts and ideas.  You are the reason why I stay up late and wake up early, why I risk my butt sometimes doing crazy shoots, why I take all my gear when I go on vacation.  Your love for my art has become an addiction that keeps feeding my creativity.  For your support, love and appreciation I am extremely thankful.
