Hello bloggers…

I’ve gotten a lot of nice and positive emails/texts/comments about Giselle and Jared’s pictures, and while I’m very flattered, I must say that some of those pictures were taken days after the wedding.  Unfortunately, the way weddings are structured in South Florida, there’s never enough time to take these kinds of shots the day of the wedding (not so many anyway).  I urge all my current and past brides to do this.  It’s so much better, we get crazy shots, hit different locations and have a lot of fun.  After the wedding you really don’t care if the dress gets an extra stain or wrinkles a little more, thus giving you the mental freedom so you can lay on the grass, run, get dirty, wet, and do a few other things that will yield very creative and unique shots.  We will never ruin or “trash” the dress, not unless you want to…

As an alternative you can choose to allow more time between the ceremony and the recption (longer cocktail hour), but you still have to dance in front of all your guests so you still have to be a little more careful with the dress.

So don’t send that dress to get preserved just yet.  Call us up and let’s take some crazy and creative portraits.
